[edit]There's an abstract at this meeting from C. Wang with some more info on the mission. Someone with more time could summarize the information.Jespley (talk) 19:54, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Rename
[edit]I think that this article should be renamed "Yinghuo -1" because the chinese mars exploration program isnt official. Lunaroutpost (talk) 11:20, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Done! thanks to User:RHaworth for the move --Lord Aro (talk) 18:59, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Current status
[edit]The article says "China's Yinghuo 1 and the Russian Phobos-Grunt spacecraft was to be sent together to Mars ... on 6 to 16 October 2009." - so what did actually happen? What is the current status of the project? --Bernd.Brincken (talk) 00:03, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Fixed. --Lord Aro (talk) 18:59, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
"Shimmering bewilderment"
[edit]...is a very misleading 'direct' translation: 惑 in this case is almost certainly short for 惑星, "planet", which in turn is literally "confusing star". 203.161.145.1 (talk) 22:05, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Images
[edit]Some images of the Yinghuo would be useful, the current one has it enshrouded within Fobos-Grunt, so it's not very clear. 76.65.128.198 (talk) 12:26, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
