The intor in the article states that Yogeswar Dutt is a Jat. It gives referenced to a link which doesn't mention that. Yogeswar is a Brahmin. It is a well known fact. I am removing the reference and correcting it. I am giving the reference of another wikipedia article about Dutts which contains plenty of references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.161.123.24 (talk) 17:59, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Dutt’s Olympic medal

[edit]

In spite of the earlier reports, Yogeshwar Dutt’s medal wasn't upgraded to silver, as can be verified from here, here, here, etc. The same can be confirmed from the United World Wrestling's official website – see here So, it should be changed back to bronze. - NitinMlk (talk) 23:12, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In the Medal Record Box at the side, for 2012 Olympics, it should be Bronze and not Silver. It is correct in the descriptions however. Milindshah077 (talk) 12:45, 6 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yogeshwar dutt was honored with brand ambassador of proposed Delhi Olympic Games 2017[1]. Vivek78360 (talk) 14:14, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: The linked source does not demonstrate that this is a significant sporting honor. The Delhi Olympic Games may not be significant themselves. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:54, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The medal mentioned in 2012 Bronze medal Olympics has been upgraded to Silver medal in 2018 after the silver medalist failed the dope test. Please change that or allow me to change it.

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.   melecie   t 12:54, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
