My mothers name was Susan Ritter. She use to race at Yonkers Raceway a very long time ago. She just died this week and in her belongings she levet me a card. Its an identification card with a mans pic on it. His name is Eiben Holmes i think. His employee number is 2533. POV Check
Not sure if a sentence regarding the "pungent scent of horse manure" should be included in the article. Sounds biased to me. JRHorse 05:21, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Well, as a Yonkers resident, I can assure you there is a pungent scent, but it is only on certain days, usually on muggy summer days. So, it may be true, but like you said, it is a POV issue as well as not being entirely true Trendon 16:18, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Yonkers Raceway logo
I would beg to differ on the green Yonkers Raceway logo shown at the top of the page, seeing that all of Yonkers Raceway's advertisments in newspapers and billboards now use the new Empire City logo... the new logo is even used on the backstretch walls of the racing oval itself. This sentence lacks the year number for dates of November 10 and 17:
On November 10, the state board, confident that all outstanding safety issues would be addressed, issued Yonkers a racing license[4] , and racing officially resumed on November 17.
