album cover

[edit]

The actual album cover is this:

The size is way too small, but this is the actual album cover. I have re-removed the one placed there, as it is definitely not the right picture. Waiting for a better resolution pic to put on the article page. SkierRMH 18:39, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The recent reissue of the album has the image I posted, however - Amazon's not always right, especially with a catalog as badly mangled as the Presley one has been. Run a Google search, and you'll see "You'll Never Walk Alone" albums listed on eBay with the cover I posted. I'll do this as a compromise, though, I'll put up the album cover given by Amazon (in slightly better resolution) and post the other image as a secondary image below the infobox. The image used to illiusrate the above comment was removed, however according to Elvis: The Illustrated Record along with about 3 other books I have the original first release cover is the one here with the word "Camden" on it (which obviously was only used on the Camden original release). It's possible the second image might have been used for non-American releases, or possibly the Pickwick reissue of 1975. But we should use the original American release cover, so I have switched the images. 23skidoo 20:11, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:You'llneverwalkalone.jpg

[edit]

Image:You'llneverwalkalone.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Correction on Swing Down Sweet Chariot

[edit]

Removed the reference to "Swing Down Sweet Chariot" being from The Trouble with Girls. The version on the album is the 1960 version; the 1968 recording from the movie wouldn't be released until the 1980s when it debuted on one of the "Legendary Performer" albums. Also, I corrected the wording to make it clear that the track is only on the UK releases of the original vinyl LP; it wasn't included on the album outside the UK until it was added to the CD. 70.73.90.119 (talk) 14:54, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
