Flops

[edit]

The current second paragraph states that the show is "considered one of the flops he wrote before his return to prominence with Kiss Me, Kate." As theatrical producer Martin Platt just pointed out in a Facebook post today (September 21, 2021), Porter actually had seven hit shows in between "You Never Know" and "Kiss Me, Kate": "Leave It to Me," "DuBarry Was a Lady," "Panama Hattie," "Let's Face It," "Something for the Boys," "Mexican Hayride," and "Seven Lively Arts." (He also had a flop, "Around the World.") So I'm changing the sentence in question.Jhlechner (talk) 12:24, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
