The SAMA award ceremony for 2012 was held on 30 April, not 1 May. This was verified at https://www.publicnewshub.com/zahara-scoops-8-awards-18th-sama-2012%E2%80%8E/. The Cape Times is a morning newspaper and it reported on the ceremony on 1 May, after the event. Asandamdayi (talk) 10:32, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As at 23:30 there are no WP:RS reporting her death

[edit]

Wikipedia should not lead reliable resources on reporting a death which is what’s happening now. Despite many reports on X no reliable sources have reported this death. Radio is saying ‘something may have happened" (without naming Zahara) but are still trying to confirm before reporting. Wikipedia isn’t a news source so it shouldn’t be reporting while reliable resources are still confirming. Ayenaee (talk) 21:36, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Her death was confirmed in RS this morning. Her official cause of death has not been released. The death section correctly expresses this stating that she was admitted for liver problems but that no cause of death has been released. A cause of death should not be inserted until reported by RS.
