Interesting changes[edit]

I have noted interesting changes, Please note that sections below the header naming Bovallius, are in fact sections of his book, hence I had those below it, as subsections.

Is there such a Category as "Nicaraguan Archaeology"

I've substantially rewritten the first half of the article (i.e. the stuff from vianica, which has involved cutting a lot of the material that was there, because in the case of copyrighted sources you really must selectively summarise and rephrase rather than simply translating or transcribing. I've left the material from Bovallius for now because (I think) it's in the public domain. But that should also probably be quite heavily trimmed down at some point for reasons of clarity - there's far too much detail there for an encyclopaedia. Joey Roe, Thank you for the input. I have in fact authorization from Vianic.com to use their material. I have requested them to send the e-mail to WP authorizing and waiting for their response, before attempting to re-load the spanish version.

At any rate, the changes to the article look great, also many tanks for updating the references, I did not know how to do them, I will copy this and use them in the future. (I need to find somebody like you on the spanish side, that works proactively)

You have given me a very good idea, already posted a note on WikiSource, asking how to go about loading the books there, then I could reduce the text tremedously and simply have references to the books.

In the case of Oct. 01, 2010 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le%C3%B3n_Viejo_(archaeological_site), what I will do in both versions is remove references to the external site, and re-upload the Spanish version.

Yes, I have several e-mails exchanged with Vianic.com, and sent the license info and e-mail format, according to the law... At any rate, as soon as I get the authorization, will follow procedures. FYI, I am already talking with WS, learning the ropes to get the complete books and pictures uploaded there, as soon as I complete that, will go back and reduce the text in the articles.Raúl Gutiérrez (talk) 16:27, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
