I'd like to add her to the category of those killed in Pakistani Air Accidents Abdul S. 01:56, 24 May 2020 (UTC) (— Preceding unsigned comment added by Abdul S. Mohiuddin (talk • contribs) )
- Comment: Sources from May 21/22 said "she was feared", but sources from 23/24 May say she died. Although it still likely she was meant to be on that plane or there was another "زارہ عابد" in that plane, she would have already said something by now. Anyway, I add here some reliable sources. I'm not adding it though. [1][2][3][4][5]. © Tbhotch™ (en-3). 03:35, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

- ... that Pakistani model Zara Abid, one of the 97 victims of PIA Flight 8303, is set to make a posthumous film debut in the biopic Chaudhry? Source for flight 8303, Source for film debut

- The only problem that I can see is that the article does not specifically state that it's a posthumous debut. It can be put together, but the readers should not have to do that. SL93 (talk) 22:44, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- SL93, how about:
- ALT1: .
.. that Pakistani model Zara Abid, who died in May in the crash of PIA Flight 8303, is set to make her film debut later this year with the biopic Chaudhry?
- The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 04:03, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- I like that one. Everything checks out for DYK. I also appreciate that you're nominating something outside of North America and Europe. SL93 (talk) 04:16, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- It's rather awkward to say a dead person is making her film debut. Yoninah (talk) 12:37, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hence the wording in the original hook, which I still think was fine, but wasn't willing to argue about. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 16:56, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Original hook is approved. I'm not going to argue over the hook. SL93 (talk) 17:25, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't understand the problem. What do you think about:
- ALT0a:
... that Pakistani model Zara Abid, one of the 97 victims of PIA Flight 8303, makes a posthumous film debut in the biopic Chaudhry?
- Well, in the lead you say it is her film debut. Second try:
- ALT0b: ... that Pakistani model Zara Abid, who made her film debut in the upcoming biopic Chaudhry, died in the crash of PIA Flight 8303? Yoninah (talk) 19:03, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- I'm fine with that. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 20:21, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks. Restoring tick per SL93's review. Yoninah (talk) 20:41, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Some online users have also attacked her posthumously for her lifestyle choices and work. This has also been covered in international media like by BBC, Insider and 9news. Some have also come to her defense. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 19:56, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:12, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- Obviously I want it to be mentioned that she has received hate as well for her lifestyle, not just tribute for her death. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 20:58, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
