Transliteration of name

[edit]

If anyone who speaks Burmese could comment on the best transliteration of this guy's name, that would really help. — Hex (❝?!❞) 10:46, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

His actual name is Aung Thuya. His acting name, Zaganar, which means tongs is famous than his name. Kwantonge (talk) 23:34, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Videos or films?

[edit]

There's a "videos" list in this article. Should it be integrated with the list of Zarganar's films, or are they distinct in some fashion? — Hex (❝?!❞) 01:49, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The videos are the straight-to-VCD films that are made specifically for the home market, (and are never screened in movie theatres). They are made very cheaply--with very low production values, and dozens of video films are churned out each year. (In contrast, less than 20 theatre-screened films are produced each year in Burma.)Hybernator (talk) 02:53, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks. — Hex (❝?!❞) 05:38, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
