Some improvements[edit]

Someone with good newspaper and journal access needs to find reviews of her performances. The article did say that she was well-reviewed in the NY Times, but I found that there were only mentions of her name in reviews of the show - therefore I removed that statement, but there are others that need references. @LaMona: Thank you for the review! The NAACP bio says specifically "In 1983, Cosmopolitan magazine called her an "upcoming star" for her role in George Nierenberg's critically acclaimed gospel documentary Say Amen Somebody, (2007). Highlighted also by The New York Times, Rolling Stone and the Chicago Sun-Times for her performance." Thus I take that as talking about her specifically and is why I cited that as the source. Yes, it'd be great if someone could actually find the articles in those media outlets, but I don't live in the US and have no access to them. SusunW (talk) 18:45, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
