Proposed updates

[edit]

I would like to propose some updates to this page as follows: 1) I would like to add information regarding the use of zoraptera in amber jewelry. 2)I would like to add the common name (angel insect). 3) I would like to add information regarding why these insects particularly live in dead wood. Amber and Zoraptera

[edit]

@Cfitch5:I have tagged out this sentence Zoraptera are also used in the production of amber jewelry. It is referenced to Poinars Insects in amber. What is the actual passage in Poinar that this is being based off? The sentence as it stands gives the clear impression that zorapterans are sought out for amber jewelry very specifically.--Kevmin § 03:34, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Kevmin Zoraptera are not sought out specifically for amber jewelry. I was only making the connection between insects in amber jewelry and zoraptera in jewelry. I understand your edit and thank you for your comment. As you may know there is not a lot of information regarding zoraptera. I will do some digging and see what I can find. Thank you!
