Processus posterior glandulae thyrEoideae[edit]

The article by Mirilas and Skandalakis (2003) mentions that Zuckerkandl named this tubercle Processus posterior glandulae thyroideae. It seems that more scientific papers are attributing this coinage to Zuckerkandl. But, the Latin expression misses an 'e', in thyreoideae. That is typical English Latin, not someone like Zuckerkandl would write. Thyroideus means door-like, not shield-like or shield-shaped. I have checked the original article that mentions the tubercle as Processus posterior glandulae thyreoideae on page 81 in full (and on other pages as Processus posterior or as abbreviated form).
