Zurich (Milner-Barry) Variation of the Nimzo-Indian Defence
[edit]Hooper & Whyld claim on p. 460 of The Oxford Companion to Chess that the Zurich Variation of the Nimzo-Indian Defence (aka Milner-Barry, 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.Qc2 Nc6) got its name from Zurich 1934. Does anyone know if this is true? AFAICS this variation wasn't played at Zurich 1934: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chesscollection?cid=1021876. Quale (talk) 08:30, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
