Pushing the envelope for a biography[edit]

I wonder if an article about a working dog used for law enforcement purposes is really in scope for a biography. I know such working dogs hold a special status among law enforcement officers and their handlers treat them as part of a team. But to say these highly trained animals should be considered a person is, perhaps, pushing the envelope too far. To include this article in WikiProject Biography, which is about writing biographies of real people, is stretching my imagination. I will let it go for now, but would welcome others comments. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 03:01, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
