This engine has 6 rows with 7 cylinders in each row, not 7 rows with 6 cylinders. Please check the German Wikipedia for the photo. And for common sense, most radials on the otto cycle can't have even numbers of pistons per row. Ggigabitem (talk) 09:59, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"You are wrong on all of this..ALL 4 stroke radials are odd numbered, look at the firing order.

What about the thousands of Wright twin row 9 cylinder radials? BTW I've seen one of these Zvezdas,it's seven 6 cyinder engines on a common crank —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.183.72.61 (talk) 20:35, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the water jackets on the heads, you can clearly see there are 6 rows of pistons from the bolt pattern, and you can count the 7 intake pipes from the main blower. The last one is partially obscured by the blower, but you aren't going to have a giant gap of missing pistons there. It's 6 rows of 7 cylinders.
What about the Wright R-3350? It has an even number of cylinders as a whole, but each bank has an odd number of cylinders.66.68.118.47 (talk) 07:57, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
