Tellef Solbakk Raabe (born 25 January 1991) is a Norwegian media researcher and artist from Ålesund. He is the older brother of singer Sigrid.[1]

Music

Raabe released his debut album Idiographic in 2016 in Norway under the Riot Factory label, and internationally under Shapes Recordings in 2017.[2] He has also composed music for theatrical performances and films.[3] His final live performance to date was in Istanbul in December 2016.[4]

Research

Raabe holds an MPhil and a PhD in media sociology from the University of Cambridge, where he studied the digital transformation of Norwegian newspapers.[5] He is currently employed by the Centre for Applied Research at the Norwegian School of Economics.[6] Raabe is also a columnist for Norway's leading broadsheet, Aftenposten.[7]
