Purpose

This template facilitates the citation of articles from The National Cyclopaedia of American Biography in the manner of {{cite encyclopedia}}.

Usage

{{Cite NCAB|title=put the name of the article here}}

This will automatically display the with the editor, year and encyclopedia parameters pre-set.

Optional parameters may also be specified (see the documentation in {{cite encyclopedia}} for details).

Examples

{{Cite NCAB|title=Wollenweber, Ludwig August}}

displays as:

White, James Terry, ed. (1901). "Wollenweber, Ludwig August". The National Cyclopaedia of American Biography.

and

{{Cite NCAB|title=Wollenweber, Ludwig August|volume=11|page=418|url=http://...}}

displays as:

White, James Terry, ed. (1901). "Wollenweber, Ludwig August". The National Cyclopaedia of American Biography. Vol. 11. p. 418.
