Template:Courtesy link/doc

This template is used to provide courtesy Wikipedia links on talk pages. While it can also be used to display external links, substituting {{Courtesy external}} is preferred instead to get rid of the extra brackets.

Usage[edit]

Parameters[edit]

There are two positional parameters, and one named parameter.

  • 1 – Provides link to the intended page (required; no default)
  • 2 – Changes the prefix text to the value of parameter 2. (optional; default: "Courtesy link:")
  • linktext – Generates a piped link where the link target is given in param 1, and the link label is given in linktext.
