Étienne Carjat

Caricature of Hector Berlioz
Caricature of Hector Berlioz
  • ... that besides his portrait photography, Étienne Carjat edited journals and published caricatures (example pictured) in the popular press? Source: "Yet he never devoted himself wholeheartedly to photography; instead, he continued to edit journals and to draw caricatures for the popular press."

  • Cwmhiraeth, I think you need to look at the sourcing. The material in the last paragraph is not found in the cited source. Expansion/length is fine and I found no copyvios. Images are properly licensed--though why not Baudelaire? It's an FP... I'm sure you had your reasons. Drmies (talk) 23:47, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
@Drmies: Thank you for the review. Several of the images are featured pictures, and I chose a caricature to go with this hook. I translated a lot of this article from the French where the referencing is unclear, and I have now added a reference for the story in the last paragraph. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:36, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, Cwmhiraeth, I ran into the same problems for these articles, Template:Did you know nominations/Goulven of Léon. I straightened out two citations, and I'll pass this. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 14:51, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
