Long enough (barely, tho), new enough. Before I execute a full review, please note: 1) the article needs to settle on one spelling of his last name (it currently seems to use the apostrophe version randomly); 2) there may be more details of relevance in the sources -- for instance, the Senate biography notes what parliamentary group he belonged to; 3) there is an annoying problem with the way in which sources are cited: see the info on his birthplace -- it mentions his birthplace as Limassa, and credits the French Senate with the alternative birthplace of Kembé -- however, we are not told which sources say Limassa. Please fix these issues. Dahn (talk) 05:55, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Dahn, I'm not sure how these queries are related to the DYK rules but I've tried to address them: 1) I've standardised his last name in the article; 2) I've added his Senate affiliation but obviously it's to be expected that there will be other information that could be added - this is a DYK nom, not a FAC after all; 3) I've added the missing inline citation for Serre and reworded to make this clearer. --GGT (talk) 11:22, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- @GGT: Hi there. My main concern was with the sources you used having a bit more facts than theyre cited with, and also with the bit being left uncited; you have addressed both, so I wont press the point, but technically these do fall under the DYK requirement that the article be well-written. So, to complete my review: new, long enough, well written, no apparent plagiarism, hooks interesting and properly cited, verified AGF; my preference is slightly toward the original hook.
