2011 NextEra Energy Resources 250

[edit]

Michael Waltrip in 2008

Moved to mainspace by ZappaOMati (talk). Self nominated at 03:52, 10 January 2014 (UTC).

  • Article was newly created a few days before being nominated, is long enough, well referenced. Ref #6 supports the hook claims of the ten year anniversary of both his NASCAR win and Dale Earnhardt's death. Pic is PD. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:23, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
  • The hook is too long: 222 characters (which counts as 211 with the "(pictured)" exclusion). Possible edits include deleting either "in the 2001 Daytona 500 and" or "and the death of Dale Earnhardt"; there currently isn't room for both facts without a rewrite. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:52, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
  • ALT1 hook is proper length, and facts are unchanged from original hook. (I've restored the original one and listed the rewritten version as ALT1 for clarity.) Approval restored per Muboshgu's review. Note to ZappaOMati: unfortunately, replyto, ping, posting a wikilink to the user, and all other ways of notifying someone from within a page don't work in Template space. I saw this in my watchlist, not as a message waiting. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:35, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
  • I gotta remember to count hook characters... – Muboshgu (talk) 22:22, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
