Improved to Good Article status by Patar knight (talk). Self-nominated at 20:40, 20 March 2017 (UTC).

  • Article was promoted to GA on 20 March and DYK nominated on the same day. Hook length is correct. Inline source provided. Not sure why you need "unique viewers" when source does not mention about uniqueness. QPQ is pending. Assuming good faith as article just passed GA. I prefer ALT1. - Vivvt (Talk) 04:35, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
    • To help a bit, the "43 million unique viewers" is the terminology used by the championship's official website in this infographic, which is presumably where ESPN is also pulling its numbers from. As I understand it, the word "unique" is sometimes used when looking at Internet viewers to differentiate it from the number of devices viewing an event, which may be higher or lower than the number of unique viewers depending on whether those viewers are watching on a single device as a group or with multiple devices as an individual. • @Vivvt: I used the tool and I only have 4 QPQ credits right now? Would this going up mean I need a QPQ now? Unique viewers is used to differentiate from total impressions (e.g. anytime someone accesses any media related to the event) or total viewers, some of whom might be repeat watchers (e.g. reloading the stream when lagging, or coming back to watch after leaving partway through). -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 04:46, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
@Patar knight: Thats correct. You dont need QPQ. Just to be sure, could you please add official website as a reference? Otherwise this is good to go. - Vivvt (Talk) 03:33, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
Done Second source in template above is the official Riot Games post. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 15:52, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
  • What I meant is, you can add the same source in the article as well. - Vivvt (Talk) 15:58, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
  • It's source 39 in the article and used as source for the entire paragraph (which mentions other viewership/prize pool statistics). ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 16:04, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Okay. Got it. - Vivvt (Talk) 16:14, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
