Hook eligibility:

QPQ: Done.

Overall: The final sentence in the article (beginning, "His gravestone inscription...") doesn't have a citation and indicates an opinion rather than simple facts. A citation is needed for that. The initial sentence in the "Early years" section needs a citation since it doesn't state a fact (rather, it's a guess about where he was born). I've also listed a couple alternative hooks below. @Tfhentz and Onegreatjoke: Let me know what you think. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 18:48, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

ALT2: ... that Continental Army soldier Adamson Tannehill was president of the Pittsburgh Fire Co. and the Pittsburgh branch of the Bank of the United States, but was also convicted of extortion? ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 18:48, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
@Tfhentz: Thanks for removing the uncited opinion (the "is a fitting remembrance" part) and adding the citations. I've updated the review. Thoughts on the hooks? ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 16:42, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
