Aeroflot accidents and incidents in the 1960s

[edit]

An Ilyushin Il-18V similar to the one involved in the accident

  • Age, length OK. Well-referenced, with no close paraphrasing seen. However, the fact about the plane crashing "upside down" does not appear in the source provided. Yoninah (talk) 13:30, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
  • The entry for the accident in the table has two references. One of them states that the aircraft "crashed inverted". According to WP:LEDE, I have removed the reference for the accident in the lede, as the entry for it has all the information required. Hope this clarify the point you raised. Regards.--Jetstreamer Talk 13:51, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks for pointing out where I could find the source. I originally tried looking for this accident in the chart, but couldn't find it for some reason. Since I'm fact-checking the point you made for the DYK nomination, and it's in the lede, I added the cite to the lede so it will be clear to readers. Hook ref verified. Good to go.
