... that before becoming a college professor, Alan L. Gropman flew more than 670 combat missions during two tours in Vietnam?

Source: In an on-line career summary of Gropman, published by George Mason University’s School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, it says: "Alan Gropman … was a member of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces faculty for more than 20 years. … He served 27 years in the United States Air Force, including two tours in Vietnam where he accumulated more than 670 combat missions."

New enough, long enough. Quite the hook (and distinguished service career, both military and civilian). The 670 line seems to appear primarily in official biographies, including the hook citation, which may be a potential concern. No other issues that I can see. QPQ present. As someone not familiar with military articles, do these sorts of figures (number of combat missions flown) typically appear outside of official bios? Raymie (t • c) 00:44, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
