Aluchin (volcano)

[edit]
  • ... that Aluchin may have formed about 1000 AD?
  • Reviewed: Jhabua-Ratlam Lok Sabha constituency by-election, 2015
  • Comment: The exact text of the source is The volcanoes are estimated to have formed around 1000 AD (Gorodinskiy and others, 1967). I am a bit uninspired at finding a WP:LIMITED compliant hook at the moment, so a better one may be needed.

  • . The article is new (created on 22 September) and long enough. It is interesting and within policies. Hook fact is verified by an (offline) inline citation. My concern is the hook, which is not inline with WP:WEASEL. I think it should be reworded, for instance, by stating that it is a scholarly estimation, not a fact. The hook is going to be tough - it's going to be hard to avoid a paraphrase. Maybe:
    • ALT1: ... that it is estimated that around 1000 AD, in Russia Aluchin was born?
Attempting a bit of poesy here. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:44, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
. To be honest, I do not like this kind of poesy, but hook fact is now in line with WP:WEASEL, and taste is a really personal feature. :) Borsoka (talk) 01:25, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
