Aqua Luna

[edit]

Aqua Luna in 2009

  • ... that the Chinese junk ship Aqua Luna (pictured) was launched in 2006 after 18 months of traditional construction by a craftsman supervised by a 73-year-old shipbuilder, but is powered by a motor rather than its three sails?

  • . Copy edits made. Everything else checks out. But the hook is too long (I count 211 including "Aqua Luna") and some of its content is dead wood. I propose cutting it a bit. Drmies (talk) 20:50, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that the Chinese junk ship Aqua Luna (pictured) was launched in 2006 after 18 months of construction in traditional style, but is powered by a motor rather than its three sails?
  • ALT1 is well-written and concise while within the maximum length. The hook is referenced in #Construction. Alex ShihTalk 04:37, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks for suggesting the alt - it looks good to me. Apologies for over-running the permitted length with my original suggestion. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 16:57, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Alright--my modified hook was accepted by an independent reviewer, so we can send this on: Mike, no apology necessary. Drmies (talk) 22:44, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
