Ardina Moore[edit]

  • ... that Ardina Moore, who is the last known fluent speaker of the Quapaw language, created her own workbook, tapes and classes to help preserve and teach the language?

Created by SusunW (talk). Self-nominated at 20:30, 18 December 2015 (UTC).

  • New enough and long enough, and well sourced throughout. Hook is cited to a reliable source and is interesting. QPQ done. '''tAD''' (talk) 18:53, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
After the above approval date, there was an EDIT to the article, removing the phrase "the last known" with an edit summary that says not actually the last Quapaw speaker (despite what the press says). @SusunW: do you want to try and resolve that issue, or perhaps take the path of least resistance and offer a different hook? — Maile (talk) 23:58, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
Maile66 you know me well, no conflict is ever desired. Though numerous sources state she is the last known, how can one ever be entirely sure of that? The Almightey Drill are you okay with my edit to making it?:
ALT1: ... that Ardina Moore, a fluent speaker of the Quapaw language, created her own workbook, tapes and classes to help preserve and teach the language? SusunW (talk) 00:05, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I approve of that alternative '''tAD''' (talk) 21:49, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
