Asare Akuffo[edit]

  • ... that Asare Akuffo is the president of all businesses in Ghana because of the Private Enterprise Foundation?

Review - The article is new enough, long enough, QPQ is done, article is neutral and not too close to the content of the sources, the hook is interesting but isn't stated explicitly enough in the article and the source for the hook is only a Wordpress blog. I think we would need a stronger inline citation here for the hook as well as clearer wording. Jeremy112233 (talk) 14:03, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
  • I have addressed the further concerns raised buttressing the hook with other sources. I feel that as it stands now, it is only be inference that makes the hook true so I would suggest an alternative hook if that will make this DYK alright.
  • I would stick with the first hook and alter it a bit as an honorary degree isn't quite interesting enough for DYK. There are other sources out there, like this one or this one from which information about his position can be pulled--many more available in a Google search as well. The sources purport to say that Akuffo is the "lead advocate" of all Ghanian businesses, not the president of all of them, so that would be the first fix needed in the hook. If you can add some of these RS sources and content about his position, and make the hook a bit more accurate, I think you could be good to go. Jeremy112233 (talk) 13:02, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
Additional sources added and hook modified. Another review is needed. Thanks.#CrossTemple Jay 08:54, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Article is now new and long enough, with no close paraphrasing or non-neutrality, and the hook is both sourced, short enough, and interesting. QPQ also done as well. Jeremy112233 (talk) 13:28, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
