Baila esta cumbia
[edit]... that although "Baila Esta Cumbia" was one of Selena's biggest hit singles, it never impacted a music chart when it was released in 1990?

- By "impacted a music chart", do you mean, "hit the charts"??? EEng (talk) 05:04, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
- If it never hit the charts, how can it be one of her biggest hit singles? EEng (talk) 20:00, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
- The song was played on radio stations that never played her songs, which gave more exposure for her and her band. It is named by music critics as her best top single, despite it never entering a music chart. A hit single does not mean a song must enter a music chart, it can be a variety of factors. - ALT2 ... that "Baila Esta Cumbia" has been called one of Selena's biggest hit singles, even though it did not chart when it was released in 1990?
- Full review needed now that hook discussion is over. Note: I changed "was" to "has been" in ALT2. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:06, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
- 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, well referenced. No close paraphrasing seen in English-language hooks. While the first fact in the hook ("one of Selena's biggest hit singles") is verified and cited inline, the second fact about the charting isn't mentioned or cited in the article. Also, the information about Veridia performing the song doesn't appear in Footnote 12.
- The QPQ that was submitted for this article wasn't a full review; I can't believe it passed. Would you kindly submit another QPQ review based on the DYK criteria listed in the DYK Reviewing guide? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 00:17, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
