Bangladesh Drug War[edit]

Created/expanded by Kaisernahid (talk). Nominated by Catrìona (talk) at 02:16, 16 August 2018 (UTC).

  • Thanks Catrìona. How about the following DYK hook?
  • ALT3:... that most of the killings of Bangladesh anti-drugs campaign followed a common script: alleged drug dealers died in “gunfights”, usually at night, and weapons and drugs were recovered near the dead body?[2]

Kaisernahid (talk) 05:25, 16 August 2018 (UTC)

  • I like ALT3, here are some tweaks:
ALT4:... that in most of the killings of the Bangladesh anti-drugs campaign, the victim was shot at night and weapons and drugs were found near the body?[3] Catrìona (talk) 16:01, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
  • I prefer ALT4 the most. Thanks. Kaisernahid (talk) 16:58, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
-Article is new enough (created 14 August 2018, nominated two days later); clearly long enough; is relatively neutral considering the subject, every sentence cited; it has no major copyright or paraphrasing issues (there are a few similar phrases, but where they're not quotes or titles, they tend to be bald statements of fact); Hook ALT4 is well within character limit (~140 chars), accurate, sourced, and interesting; their QPQ is done; no image. Passing ALT4, let's go. —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 13:51, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
