... that the Bank of California Building (pictured) in downtown Portland, Oregon, has been described as being in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo?

Comment: The option exists to combine this nomination with that of another newly expanded article, to create a single hook, as shown below, but I'd prefer separate DYK entries (which would also allow images of both to be used).
... that the Bank of California Building (pictured) and the U.S. National Bank Building, which stand across the street from one another in Portland, Oregon, were both designed by A. E. Doyle but in contrasting styles?

Note that, per rule C3, the two-article hook does not exceed the length requirements, even if "(pictured)" is included the count.
