Banknotes of Demarary and Essequibo[edit]

Demerary and Essequebo, 10 Joes

  • ... that in the British colonies of Demarara and Essequibo, banknotes in the 19th century were denominated in Joes (pictured)?
  • ALT1: ... that the British colonies of Demarara and Essequibo issued banknotes denominated in Joes (pictured)?

  • Article new enough, long enough, citations OK, no close paraphrasing (Earwig suggests only 4.8% possibility) and seems to be neutral. Perhaps a better hook could be used, such as ALT1: ... that the British colonies of Demarara and Essequibo issued banknotes denominated in Joes (pictured)?
Image also OK, but perhaps other pictures (such as the One Joe or Ten Joes notes) would look better at a small size. Xwejnusgozo (talk) 20:27, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Xwejnusgozo- The ALT1 works for me and I swapped out the image as suggested. Thanks.--Godot13 (talk) 20:45, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
