- The article is new enough, long enough (5 x expanded) and within policy. No copyvio detected. The hooks are good, I'm not overly knowledgeable of classical music but the BBC Proms I think most people know of so would prefer the original hook. Sources are provided. No QPQ needed since the author claims to have fewer than five DYKs. The article is good to go. However, I will take this opportunity to offer some mild criticism, as well. Firstly, I think the second paragraph of the "Career" section is essentially just a somewhat cumbersome list of venues. I don't think it's necessary to list them all; or possibly, they could be made into a list-section? Also, I think there is little information in the article on what it is that makes him special as a pianist. The Independent article about him at the Proms calls him "the most perfectly accomplished pianist of his generation" which is pretty stunning, and I was surprised there is no elaboration on this in the article. So these are some things that can be improved, but for a DYK it's perfectly all right. I'm happy an Uzbekistani pianist is given proper attention, there are not too many articles about Uzbekistani pianists here. Yakikaki (talk) 12:56, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
