Source: Bruce-Mitford 1974, p. 250 n.5: "The most significant parallel is in the manuscript field. The lateral stroke of the N in the IN [sic] monogram from St John in the Durham Gospel fragment MS A II 10 is built of two similar fish motifs."

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain, the hook facts are sourced inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. I have added ALT1. QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:33, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
  • It has passed the eligibility test and what you add now is immaterial. I expect you know that you should provide attribution in the edit summary if you copy text from another article. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:17, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the article doesn't say anything about yellow dolphins. Yoninah (talk) 00:00, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Yoninah, relevant portions are "The decomposed enamel background appears yellow to the eye" and "The reconstructed design shows three dolphin-like animals". I can add some wording to make it clear that the designs are also yellow if needed. Thanks, --Usernameunique (talk) 01:03, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Yoninah, added a line to that effect ("The bodies are yellow like the background..."). --Usernameunique (talk) 18:47, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Restoring tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 22:49, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
