Berners Bay

[edit]

Berners Bay

Created by Rosiestep (talk), Nvvchar (talk), Dr. Blofeld (talk). Nominated by Rosiestep (talk) at 04:39, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Article created 10 February (although listed here under 9 Feb) so new enough; at 3334 characters is long enough; not a stub; no copy vios detected using earwig; neutrally written; all paragraphs have inline citations.
  • Hook is concise at 61 characters, interesting; accurately cited in reference #2; and correctly formatted.
  • Image is Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported, which I guess is okay as nominators have more experience than me!
  • QPQ done

Good to go. SagaciousPhil - Chat 12:51, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Although the hook uses "Auke", the Berners Bay article exclusively spells it "Auk". I think this discrepancy needs to be resolved before the hook can be promoted. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:00, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Now that spelling has been decided on, removing ? icon standing in the way of promotion, and striking original hook in favor of ALT1 spelling (which is indeed the one used in hook source). Approval remains per SagaciousPhil. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:03, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
