Big-fish-little-pond effect[edit]

5x expanded by AttackMoose22 (talk). Self-nominated at 14:27, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

  • Approving this nomination which was not properly transcluded in April. The article is a fivefold expansion and is long enough. The hook facts are sourced, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:20, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I find the hook wording clunky. It would be far hookier to write it, perhaps using piped links, as ...that it is better to be a little fish in a big pond than a big fish in a big pond? Yoninah (talk) 16:55, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
  • @Cwmhiraeth: it appears the nominator has not worked on Wikipedia since May. Do you want to upgrade the hook? Yoninah (talk) 16:59, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Actually, the papers are talking about self-concept, so I tweaked the hook. Restoring tick per your review. Yoninah (talk) 19:38, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
