Bill Cook[edit]

Created/expanded by Resolute (talk). Self nom at 00:10, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Great article, everything checks out: The article is five-fold expanded and nominated in time. It is well-written and has inline citations. Though the hook is interesting, it is not backed up an inline citation: The source states that it was "A substitute, Eddie Bouchard was the hero of Gotham's triumph" in the opening match of the NHL-season against Pittsburg. I don't know if you got the wrong citation, or if I misread, but this needs to be sorted. Mentoz86 (talk) 17:50, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
  • I think you misread. There were two New York teams at that time, and since I can't link to the direct Rangers story, you scrolled to the one for the New York Americans instead. Look for the headline "Lester Patrick's N.Y. Rangers break in N.H.L. with victory". Alternatively, references 2 and 3 (both Hockey Hall of Fame) and 8 (Official Guide to the Players of the Hockey Hall of Fame) also support the hook. Thanks, Resolute 02:05, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Found it. Good to go! Great work on the article, I hope it pass the GA-review. --Mentoz86 (talk) 10:19, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
