Blackrock (film)

[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by Freikorp (talk). Self nominated at 13:19, 13 January 2015 (UTC).

  • Nice work with the article, recently promoted to GA statues, meet policies and QPQ is done. Both hooks are interested but I'll go with the first one. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 04:44, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
  • Returning to noms area. The hook fact is not sourced in the article. The play was opposed by the family for its fictionalization; the film was opposed by the family for "trivialising and exploiting her death, and portraying her negatively". Yoninah (talk) 10:54, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
  • I preferred ALT1 anyway. Removing original hook and replacing with ALT1. I've made sure this hook has an inline citation and is 100% accurate. @Captain Assassin!:. Freikorp (talk) 20:59, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you, that's much better. Hook ref verified and cited inline. I would suggest a slight tweak to get rid of the passive voice:
  • ALT1: ... that filmgoers incorrectly believed that Blackrock was a factual account of the murder of Leigh Leigh? Yoninah (talk) 21:16, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
  • That looks good to me, as long as it's not a problem that the hook doesn't specify that not all filmgoers believed this, as i'm sure not all of them did. Freikorp (talk) 22:20, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
  • The source only says "viewers". It doesn't say if it's "many" or "some". It seems fine to me. Yoninah (talk) 00:10, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
