  • Article is new enough and long enough, but has rightly been tagged as relying on a single source. I also detect a bit of bias in the article. I'll give you a chance to work on those issues, but I don't see it at the moment. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:55, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
  • In response to Muboshgu's comments, I added some suggested references, available on the web, and their footnote citations on the article's talk page. More references are available on this topic from google scholar.
I would also like to suggest an alternate wording of the hook that does not use the term "rejected", which sounds inaccurate and is not in the source (Barbosa, p. 6, available on books.google.com):
ALT1 = ... that the initial Brazilian nationalism maintained negative sentiment toward Portugal, Britain and the neighbour countries of the Río de la Plata Basin?
