~~... that a painted pottery (pictured) of the Neolithic period from the Burzahom archaeological site is a globular red ware pot made on a turntable?~~

ALT1:... that from an archaeological point of view the "Aryans in Kashmir" is a misconception as Vedic Aryans have not been traced in Kashmir from the explorations (a pottery find pictured) at Burzahom?

Article was indeed created by the nominator, and in the required time. Non lede paragraphs are all referenced. The page is adequately large. Picture is relevant, in article and free. Hook is in the article, referenced, and confirmed on the page before the one linked. However there is an error in the article sentence with the hook. The Goat was black, not the pot. correction confirmed, so good to go with original hook. Hook alt1 is also present and cited and confirmed in the reference. Though as it is worded it is a bit confusing as it has no context. So I suggest using original hook. Good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:52, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

I find both hooks difficult to read. How about:
ALT2: ~~... that a Neolithic red pot depicting a wild goat with long horns and hanging ears (pictured) was unearthed from the Burzahom archaeological site?~~ Yoninah (talk) 22:22, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
But the connection between the hook and the image is not verified. Do you have a source connecting the image and the description, to add to the picture caption in the article? Yoninah (talk) 22:22, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

@Nvvchar: thank you for the cites. But the only verification of the painting on the pot is coming from the Wikimedia Commons image, which attributes it to a museum and calls it a "horned figure". Since there are no images in Kaw or the other source you provided, I wonder how we can identify the figure with a wild goat?
I wonder if you could provide another hook, even without a picture. The Vedic Aryans angle is interesting, although not fully explained in the article. Here is another idea:
