Butterly House
[edit]- ... that Butterly House (pictured) Toodyay, Western Australia is at town lot 1?
alt1 ... that Butterly House (pictured), though a residential dwelling, was used as a bank for about 10 years?
- Withdraw alt1 as I like alt2 better, for reasons of submittor.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 14:46, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- alt2 ... that Butterly House (pictured), though a residential dwelling, was used as a bank during the 1890s?

- - Starting review - Prefer Alt1 over original. 2589 characters is good, age of one day is alright. No copyvio problems found using Copyvio Detector. QPQ doesn't need to be done. Can I get an inline reference for "...though a residential dwelling, was used as a bank for 10 years." with a quote from the source. Article needs more inline references to show where the material came from. Can the article be expanded a little more.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 13:52, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- added ref inline, the calculation is mine the article actually says it was bank from 1889 until circa 1897-99. Gnangarra 14:18, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- Glad to see ref. Could I get a ref for the second paragraph. Can the article be expanded a little. Thanks.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 14:45, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- Good to Go now. Everything meets DYK requirements.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 23:20, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I have trouble with ALT1's "about 10 years". Based on what I read of FN2, it seems like the bank would have opened quite late in 1889; if it moved out in early 1897, as a possibility based on FN2, it could have been there as few as seven years and a few months, though I'm guessing that FN1 was added to affirm 1898 (the PDF was taking forever to download, so this is AGF on my part), which makes it unlikely to be even a full nine years. I'd like to suggest that the hook be made less specific; maybe "most of a decade" would cover the possibilities well enough? BlueMoonset (talk) 04:53, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
- All DYK criteria met and ALT2 hook approved. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:38, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
