C. A. W. Jeekel
[edit]... that Dutch zoologist C. A. W. Jeekel (pictured), credited with launching the "modern era" of millipede taxonomy, was an avid fan of jazz?

- for ALT1 (I think the bit about jazz is a bit trivial for the main page and the hook is interesting enough without). Article is new enough, long enough and suitably references. No close paraphrasing found on spotcheck of online sources. Hook is interesting and cited. Image is free and looks good at thumbnail size. From what I can tell, the nominator has only three previous DYK credits so QPQ is not required. 97198 (talk) 13:57, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
