Carex aboriginum[edit]

  • ... that the Idaho-endemic sedge Carex aboriginum was not seen again for nearly 90 years after its initial discovery?

Created/expanded by Stemonitis (talk). Self nominated at 07:08, 3 June 2013 (UTC).

  • The article is clearly new enough, as this nomination was made the same day as creation (within 15 minutes, actually, dang, Stemonitis). It is clearly long enough, so i'm not going to bother with a specific amount count. The article is clearly neutral, has ample use of inline citations, and I see no plagiarism issues when comparing it with the sources directly. The hook is 113 characters, within the 200 limit and it is cited directly in the article. And it is certainly one of the more interesting plant hooks i've seen. The QPQ was done and there is no image to worry about. This looks good to go! SilverserenC 21:37, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
