Château du duc d'Épernon
[edit]( )
- ... that the Château du duc d'Épernon, in the Brie region, retains its round towers at each corner but not its moat, walled city, or two drawbridges?

- It's an impressively detailed article, but it has a lot of problems, unfortunately. Sourcing is very patchy - only one source is cited for the whole of the first section ("Architectural description") and the third section ("Status of the castle"). Large parts of the "History" section are not cited. The second section needs a lot of work. As Johnbod says, there are too many paragraphs - they should be condensed and merged - and the English is often faulty (e.g. "The gardens and the old farm are landscaped leisure park."). These issues need to be fixed if the article is to meet all of the criteria for DYK. Prioryman (talk) 17:27, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- Prioryman: I don't have the time to make such extensive fixes this month. Is there a way to place this DYK "on hold" or should I withdraw the nomination? Rcsprinter123 (consult) @ 18:10, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- Well, in all honesty it is going to require a substantial effort to fix all the issues with this article. If neither you nor the author have the time to do that, then I think withdrawing the nomination is probably the best option. Prioryman (talk) 22:43, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- Alright, you can count it as withdrawn then. Rcsprinter123 (parlez) @ 23:37, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
