Challenger Columbia Stadium[edit]

Created by No.1utfan (talk). Self-nominated at 04:50, 27 July 2015 (UTC).

  • The article is new, long enough and well cited. Bare URLs #1 and #2 need to be improved, even they are used only in the infobox, and not required as reference there if found already in the text. I was unable to access the refs #2, #5, #6 and #8. I AGF. "Duplication detector" bot found no duplication. The hook is properly formatted and interesting. However, its length is over the limit with 210 chars. Needs to be slightly reworded. The hook fact is cited inline. However, I was unable to access the ref #7 for the hook fact. I AGF. I will approve after the a.m. issues are addressed. --CeeGee 18:27, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
  • I fixed the bare URLs and reworded the hook. The references are all working fine on my end, but, if you still have issues accessing them, I can try to fix them. --No.1utfan (talk) 21:47, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
  • The reworded hook is still over the limit. So, I propose ALT1. Other issues are addressed. I AGF for the references I could not access. Good to go.--CeeGee 05:43, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but it's not clear what's going on here. Where's the original hook? Why aren't the hooks listed in chronological order? How can I know that ALT1 is not your own work, @CeeGee:, or a condensation of the original? Please advise. Yoninah (talk) 22:07, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: I cannot understand your problem. The original hook's length is definitely over 200 chars, and the of ALT1 is under the limit. ALT1 is, yes, a "condensation" of the original. It was proposed by me, and surely chronologically after the original. Do I understand something wrong? --CeeGee 03:23, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
  • No, sorry, I was reading the thread of this review and I misunderstood your second comment about the "reworded hook". I thought there was a previous hook that the nominator proposed. (This is what happens when I'm up late at night.) ALT1 is fine.
  • There is, however, a huge chunk of copyvio in the article:
  • Source: Evening events at both Clear Creek Intermediate and Clear Creek High School are impacted when there are stadium events due to increased traffic and lack of parking. Stadium event parking consumes the available parking at Clear Creek High School, Clear Creek Intermediate, CCISD Education Support Center, and neighboring businesses and apartment complexes.

  • @Yoninah: No problem at all. It happens to me also sometimes. Concerning the copyvio issue, as I mentioned before, I was unable to access some refs anyhow. Your attention is much appreciated. --CeeGee 10:57, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: I reworded the copyvio. Please let me know if there are any other issues. Thanks for your help. No.1utfan (talk) 03:38, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you, that's much better. Close paraphrasing issues resolved. Restoring tick per CeeGee's review. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 08:56, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
