Chaonei No. 81[edit]

Front elevation of house

  • ALT1:... that Chaonei No. 81 (pictured), called "Beijing's most celebrated haunted house", might someday become the embassy of the Holy See in China?
  • ALT2:... that the Chinese horror film The House That Never Dies inspired as many as 500 viewers a day to visit Chaonei No. 81 (pictured), the Beijing haunted house on which the film was based?
  • Reviewed: Stewart Gray
  • Comment: I would like this to be considered for Halloween (October 31), for obvious reasons.

  • Halloween Nom. Tick for the main hook and alt2 as its the only two I checked. I boldly rephrased the main hook to more closely reflect the ref. Well structured article and the editor went to China to take the pix! :-) which are freely licensed and are cleverly used as a source. The red guard "story" is interesting and hooky and supported by a reliable source. Article is interesting as the house has substantial notoriety. Neutral, no obv. paraphrasing etc. Thanks for this contribution Daniel. Victuallers (talk) 09:07, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
