Source: "Brass components weighing 300 pounds each were pulled off former Chesapeake & Ohio 2-6-6-2 No. 1309 and sold to a local scrap dealer", "12 crown brasses and 12 hub liners, two per driving axle, were removed from 1309. New pieces will have to be manufactured to replace them." [1]

New enough, long enough, and compliant with Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Hook is cited, and interesting. I think that the hook should make clear that the subject is a locomotive, and so inserted that word above. In my view, this is ready for DYK. RGloucester 00:56, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
