*ALT1 ... that the 2011 Coal Creek Flood was the result of a storm that pummeled the region with 5 inches (13 cm) of rain in 90 minutes?
  • ALT2 ... that after a 2011 storm at Coal Creek pummeled the region with 5 inches (13 cm) of rain in 90 minutes causing "indescribable damage", the area did not qualify for government aid?
*ALT3 ... that Coal Creek was denied government aid in 2011 after "indescribable damage" was done by a storm that pummeled the region with 5 inches (13 cm) of rain in 90 minutes?

  • Of those, ALT2 is the best, though I still prefer the original. --Jakob (talk) 16:55, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
  • That's fine. I was just responding to your comment trying to find a way to incorporate everything. It's your call - you and whoever the reviewer is. — Maile (talk) 18:32, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
Long enough, new enough, QPQ done. How's this hook:
  • ALT4 ... that the "indescribable damage" caused by 5 inches (13 cm) of rain descending upon Coal Creek did not qualify for federal aid?--Launchballer 14:04, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
  • @Launchballer: How about this: ALT5: ... that the "indescribable damage" caused by 5 inches (13 cm) of rain descending upon Coal Creek in 90 minutes did not qualify for federal aid? --Jakob (talk) 14:09, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
Took me a while to see the difference. Good to go.--Launchballer 14:13, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
