Construction Skills Certification Scheme[edit]

Moved to mainspace by Dumelow (talk). Self-nominated at 06:59, 20 October 2018 (UTC).

@Dumelow: A reference in the middle of a word. I am not sure where, if anywhere, it belongs, so could you shoo it into place? "CSCS is seeking to move t[2]owards a minimum of a level 2".

You seem to have used the same review to QPQ Pigeon whistle. I am sure that your note "(1/2)" on both nominations explains it, but could you go through it slowly for those at the back of the class? Gog the Mild (talk) 12:02, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Straight forward, good to go. Gog the Mild (talk) 12:02, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

  • Hi Dumelow. Thanks. I should have looked further, but it is Sunday and I am feeling lazy. As I was querying the stray cite anyway, it was easier to ask you. Actually an area I know something about; I am staggered that there wasn't already an article. Nice work.
  • I think that ALT0 is fine. ALT1 is, IMO, too wordy. There is probably a better (and short) hook in ALT1 but after some playing around I can't find it, so I am lazily approving ALT0 Gog the Mild (talk) 12:29, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
  • Thanks. There was an earlier article at CSCS card deleted as a copy vio in 2010. Our coverage of the construction industry isn't great. I've been writing new articles on and off for the past year as it tied in to revision I was doing anyway. Happy with ALT0, its a bit of a struggle for me to find an interesting hook out of a "work" article sometimes! - Dumelow (talk) 12:37, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
